99 candles on the cake

I was up early but E and D had already left.  Went for a swim and again the pool  was deserted.  Hung out washing and then the heavens opened and everything got soaked.

In the afternoon I went with my mother to a 99th birthday party, my great aunt.  Her daughter, 2 grandsons, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, great niece and nephew were all there, along with partners and various other friends.  We were in her care home who made a lovely cake.  They also have a sideline in jam, chickens and eggs. Combined age of my mother and her aunt - 191.

Came home to fill out forms and hang out washing, again.
