Meet Betsy, my new electric bike! I've been wanting one for ages, and after hiring one on holiday, it made me realise how much it would help tackle the hills in Saltdean. So thanks to my lovely mum for her help, I collected it today from the bike shop at the marina.

After being shown how to use everything, I cycled round the marina to get used to it, before cycling to Hove Lagoon.

It's amazing, it's so comfortable to ride and even cycling into head wind didn't cause a problem. Better than that, I get up hills easily, leaving Alan behind! I can see we're going to be great pals :-)
