Life in Sunny Dubai

We went into London again today! This time to meet up with blipper Tigg (who does not like to be photographed, so no picture with her).

It has been a fantastically relaxed day. The only schedule we needed to keep to was to be at Covent Garden at 3:30; so we had a leisurely stroll over Waterloo Bridge, walked through Somerset House, had a good look in their bookshop, then down the Strand and through Jubilee Market, browsing their stalls and then met up with Tigg at the time that our favourite group of musicians started playing. Magic! **

We had a good catch up, and being blippers, talk soon turned to cameras, so we walked over to the London Camera Exchange to get the low-down on a Fuji XT20. We had a super salesman; such a photography enthusiast, so G told him about Blipfoto.

Dinner at Zizzi's nearby, and more catching up... Tigg had to leave to catch her train back, and as we had a bit of daylight and the promised rain still hadn't arrived (though there was quite a cold breeze), we walked around Trafalgar Square and then over the Thames towards the London Eye and finally back to Waterloo. G just loves London!

And, I have to add this... we got to the car at Surbiton car park just as it started to drizzle! :)

** I was bemused by a "shop" called 2theloo which has appeared next to where Nauticalia was (now Whittard). It soon became apparent 2theloo is a new public convenience(??!!!***). People queuing up outside, in fact, a really long snake queue! I had to do some looking up when I got home. Have a look if you have some time. The things people come up with to make money these days!
