Street Portrait

An amazing day under the guidance of Peter Zelewski - an incredible street portrait guy.  Look him up - he has been a prize winner in recent Taylor Wessing competitions.  There were 14 of us in the group for the two day course (it carries on tomorrow) based at the Portrait Gallery in London.  After a morning of tuition we went out into the streets of Soho where we found our locations and then accosted compete strangers to come and pose for us. This was quite nerve-wracking, but I think almost everyone approached was willing to pose.
I loved the people who were happy to pose for me - this guy had such an infectious smile and his joyful personality shines through. A couple of extras added.

Tomorrow we are out in Covent Garden for more portraits - I hope I have a better idea of how to approach this type of photography which is definitely well outside my comfort zone.
