Unleashed

Today was my second cultural outing of the Edinburgh festival season (the first was at the jazz festival last month). This time it was a Fringe event.

It all went well. I enjoyed "the show".

It was Alex Salmond Unleashed, featuring our former First Minister in a starring role. It was funny, and fun. He even sang a duet with guest Elaine C Smith - a comedian and fellow independence campaigner.

The rest of the audience enjoyed it too, and interestingly I reckon about half of them were over 60 (demographically the least likely to be pro independence).

The series of shows was sold out quickly and they managed to put together two extras. No doubt sold out now too!

All the "profit" is going to charity.

No photography allowed in the venue, so the Blip is the Half Price Hut at the Mound. You see what's available, check in your programme to see if it interests you (and whether you can get to the venue in time) and then take the plunge. I opted for a train home.
