Caught in a Thunderstorm

I having woken up a little late this morning, I only ventured as far as the Camberley town centre to pay in some cheques, and on to a nearby "out of town" store for coffee and "window" shopping, before heading a few miles further to Yateley Common for a walk with the camera.

I think Autumn may be early this year, as there was evidence of leaves turning, and a fair number of fungi around. 

As I walked, the skies got blacker and blacker, and thunder started rolling around.  Luckily I was under some shelter of a clump of trees with an umbrella when the heavens opened, and I managed some shots of the heather covered heathland without getting myself or the camera wet.
