The Cud Life...holiday part 2

Jon and I were up at 8 and drove to the local Asda to do a quick shop. Back at the site M & H had started to pack away, and we were lucky to get the awning down in the dry.

We left the site in Roslin around 10 and took a fairly slow cross country route towards Gretna, stopping en route to brew a coffee. We arrived at our Yorkshire campsite at about 4. The site is much more 'us' and only 16 pitches. We are the first on the left here, most others are in tents, but one odd looking caravan has just turned up. There is a big fire pit in the middle of the field we are all pitched in, and the farmer has just been and delivered some wood for tonight's fire. The field next to us is full of cows. There are lots of children, and space for them to run about. At the last site, it was more aimed at adults I think, and there was a big 'No Ball Games' sign.

I think we are going to be happy here for the week.
