Ripe for the picking.

Well that's what we thought until Chris got up the tree to pick them!

Went across to our friends this afternoon as when we dropped her off after our day out last Thursday these damsons looked ready to go.

As soon as he started picking he could feel they were under ripe so we'll have to return in a week or two and the damson gin will have to wait a little while.

He did however sing for his supper by pruning a Weiglia that had a lot of dead wood in it and then cooked the curry we enjoyed this evening. He can be quite useful!
