Helenium

This helenium is about in full flower now, and is contrasted here with euphorbia foliage. The other heleniums we have are all on their second flush of flowers now, having been very precocious this year. Scrupulous dead-heading seems to be doing the trick - they have more buds forming still so I hope will go on into the autumn.
