Later this week the plasterer is coming (he says with wild gay abandon, given that the last two failed to turn up when they said they were coming...) so we need to clear the utility room, which is a room that tends to accumulate archaeological layers of Things To Fix.

In three of these layers were the lost bits of the parrot; now reassembled and free to pine for fjords as necessary.
