2 Consultants and a Solicitor

You remember "4 Weddings and a Funeral"? Today was "2 Consultants and a Solicitor" for us.
Solicitor - lots and lots of signatures. I thought for one minute that we were famous and everyone wanted our autographs.
Then No.1 consultant. No need for details except to say that it was good news.
Then a text from solicitor (not too good).
Followed by a call from No. 2 Consultant. C's cataract op booked for mid October. Great Stuff.
Then a short break for coffee and a (shared) piece of walnut cake. The waitress said "Aaaah. You' two are so romantic, you always have two forks". Some might call it "tight". I prefer "Romantic".
I then went to work - only 5 hours late, but who's counting?
End of story - still don't know our completion date.  We've signed. Our buyers have signed. Our sellers want to delay by 2 weeks. Our buyers say "No!! We'll pull out!!" Ho Hum. The joys of buying and selling in England. 
I prefer to concentrate on the fact that the bit of good news I REALLY wanted today has happened. The rest can be dealt with.
