Hill Top Ramblings

We can kayak!

We had a lovely kayak trip today, on beautiful calm seas. We paddled along to see a mythical place(to me, at least) Orcalab!
Here, they research the passing Orcas, recording their voices and working out the family relationships. They are at the forefront of Orca conservation and live in the wilderness on Hanson Island amazing!
We also met the T90 family, mammal eating transient whales who pass through snapping up dolphins and seals, we were just bobbing about in our little kayaks! It was fine!
Later in the afternoon we transferred back to a Port McNeill for a last meal with our group, we all got along so well it was sad to say goodbye.
