Gin!

A typical day after getting home from a trip.

The things to be done were in inverse proportion to the energy available to do them.

Fortunately I'd booked a late afternoon event at the Edinburgh Book Festival, so I was able to give up the unequal task after lunch and head for the railway station.

It turned out to be very good - Yrsa Sigurdarsdottir, the Icelandic crime writer (I've read a few of her books) and an English crime writer I''d never heard of (Kate London, who's just published her second book).

Ms Sigurdarsdottir turned out to be very amusing - always impressive when someone is speaking a foreign language.

The scene of the crime(s) got Blipped. The gin was tempting, but not tempting enough. Anyway, the car was in the station carpark.
