An ordinary life....

Lola's Home!

And so our lives are changed forever. For the better :-)

We were late getting to Carole's because of traffic on the motorway. Typical! But we got there in the end.

We were met by four very lively (and lovely) puppies and their beautiful and patient mum Lily. And then it was time for Alan to meet Lola.

Carole lifted her into his knee and he was beaming. Lola sat there quite happily till her siblings barked and wanted in on the act. Alan jumped then laughed.

We went outside for the obligatory photo then it was time to gather Lola up and her amazing info pack that Carole has compiled as well as other goodies, and head back to Lola's forever home.

She definitely wasn't keen on the puppy carrier, scratching to get out. Poor Carole was in bits as we left. Thankfully a few minutes into the journey she settled and lay down to quietly shred the puppy pad!

D took her to straight into the garden when we got back and she did her business. Good girl Lola! :-)

For the rest of the afternoon and evening she's been an absolute star. Full of fun and mischief, already sitting at the sit command and following David like his wee shadow.

Andrew, Nikki and Jennifer came up and she was great with them. Playing and being generally adorable.

Something I'm immensely relieved about- she loves her crate :-))) She's been in and out it all day and evening quite happily. She fell asleep on the kitchen floor after her supper and Nikki lifted her and put her in her crate. She woke briefly, got her cuddly Doggy, snuggled in and fell back to sleep.

David is sleeping downstairs tonight and I'm on call if need be so better get to sleep!

One final thing, she's been with us half a day and already we are head over heels in love with her. I'll probably blip her almost every day and I don't even care :-)))
