She's Home

My wife spent the past three days away with her family, and that was good. I don't have the multiple brother/sister thing in my life, so I see so much value in nurturing sibling relationships. She had a great couple of days and that makes me smile.

So it was nice to have her home last night, and it felt sweet to have her beside me as I drove a distance to lead worship as a guest this morning. When I walked into the sanctuary there a was bat circling around the ceiling and that pretty much set the tone for any plans I had. I spent most of the day attempting to catch up as things derailed early.

So at some point I gave in and we spent a lazy Sunday around the house, and it was good to have her home.
