Bryce Canyon

An early start got us to the sunrise at Bryce Canyon (see 1st extra).  Unfortunately the light on the pillars in the base of the canyon didn't last long because of cloud.

After breakfast we returned for a very hot and strenuous walk down to the floor of the canyon where we wandered among the amazing sandstone pillars.

My main picture is an overview of the canyon in the afternoon which shows the structure.
