Summer's end

We all had a bit of a lie-in this morning, but were up in time to sadly take Bundle to the station in Carcassonne to start her journey home. Hugs all round, and a new adventure already being planned!

This evening there was a final, belatedly arranged meal at the holiday centre, with live music. Last chance to enjoy the balmy evening air and chat to locals and visitors over salad, boles de picolat, ice cream, and a surprisingly modest amount of wine. Music provided by Occitan band Brick à Brac, dancing provided by the local folkdancing association, who sprang into action as soon as dinner was over (nudge to R and A if you're reading this, your friends say hello!).  The band wasn't bad, but not in the same league as some. We sloped off home around 11 p.m.

PS Bundle, you have to come back because we didn't manage to take you to any live music!

PPS I played around with motion blur, more right from here. I am still backblipping, but nearly caught up now!
