Fin de saison

I was invited to the final dinner at the gite complex in the village, my reward for taking photos all summer. Disappointingly, they'd chosen to hold it indoors instead of in the courtyard. K told me she'd looked at the weather and it was forecast to be 21C at 9 pm ... she considered this too cold to be outdoors???

Ah well. Singer Patricia provided the entertainment with the aid of a backing track. She's another one who knows 300 songs by heart, and she sang for the entire evening without a break. She started at 7:30 and was still going strong when I left around 11. As you can see she encouraged audience participation, and even got some scat singing from Monsieur le Maire ... the visitors were impressed.

PS As you can see from today last year, we were outdoors and more lively!
