Homeless World Football Cup 2017 in Oslo, Norway

There are about 100 million homeless worldwide and about 1.6 billion people that lack adequate housing. 

This year Oslo is hosting the The World Cup in Street Soccer for the Homeless. 450 matches will be played during 8 days. Over 500 players from more than 50 nations spread over 70 teams are playing. 

This is the game between North Irland and Costa Rica. The Irish won 4-3. 

The Homeless World Cup Foundation is a charity organization that uses football to inspire people who are homeless to change their lives while changing the overall perception of being homeless. The organization and their many international partners organize the football tournament each year.
