Towns and Cities in Bloom

Look closely at the floral displays and the first signs of autumn approaching are readily evident.
While there is still brilliant colour in abundance, some of the blooms are giving signs that they are past their best.
Here in Romsey as in towns and cities all over the country local people can take pride in their high streets and thoroughfares where inspirational floral displays have brought life to shopping communities.

For that I commend the authorities, be it local authorities or trade organisations like Chambers of Commerce, for imaginative thought and providing the funding which has gone into making Britain brighter this summer and giving a welcome lift in times of economic constraints affecting many aspects of our daily life.
