It's always a nice surprise to see a Painted Lady, you don't when when or where they might pop up.

This one was joined by Red Admirals, Small Whites and a Speckled Wood on campus this lunchtime.

Leaning into September, I spent most of the day trying to tidy up some 16/17 business. Next week will definitely have a 17/18 feel about it.
