Bridge for fish?

I had resolved to set all this weather stuff aside and seek new subjects for blipping. However, I was driving through Peebles and caught this sight of the Cuddy Burn.

The burn had temporarily lost sight of its place and decided to become a fast flowing river; even a raging torrent in places. That has left this pedestrian bridge with no real purpose in life. Opportunity for the fish perhaps to hold their gills and cross over to the other side.

The landscape is full of streams and burns and rivers who have elevated themselves to the next level. We have thoughts for those most directly impacted by these floods and the misery it has caused them.

I am also in awe of a power we have yet to harness.
