Serles House, Wimborne

Nice to know that old-fashioned English eccentricity lives on in this weird and wonderful town garden in Wimborne, open to the public through the National Gardens Scheme. It's a late Victorian House which the owner has restored, and has created a 'period' garden to go with it except that the garden includes all kinds of random stuff, including a little grotto, some terracotta sculpture  and even some human torsos suspended in a tree.
