He was trying hard, lots of cooing. She was playing hard to get. But not too hard. Just another day in a street pigeons life.

I know lots of people don't like street pigeons. But this descendent of the cliff loving rock dove is certainly a bird that has adapted well to modern city life. Which is why they seem to breed almost all year round. Bring on the peregrine falcons, just to keep those numbers in check a bit.
