Knot Grass Caterpillar

A bit drizzly but much milder than yesterday thankfully. A robin sang to me softly from deep in a bush and I got some nice shots of it partially obscured. I found this caterpillar chomping away on thistles by the bonfire down the field. I've photographed similar before but not this exact one. I think it is the larva of a knot grass moth. Luckily it's not the very similar brown-tail moth caterpillar as these have urticating hairs.

Today's poem is Let any, who will, still bask in the south by Anna Akhmatova. http://ocls.kyivlibs.org.ua/ahmatova/perekladi_1/ahmatova_eng/078.htm

I don't really get this. It's an evocation of Autumn. I like the third verse.
