Day 3.

Amazing place - Sheffield.
Being a country/village lad, i never envisaged living in a city; but from what little we/I saw of Sheffield on one visit, it looks like a city i could live in. It claims to be the "greenest" city in the country, (Literally, not metaphorically) I have no doubt there is the usual "City centre" but the bits we were in you'd have thought out in the country. e.g. 350 acres of mature wood within the city limits, a library arguably better than most, a huge park with "toys" the "like of what which" I've never seen before including usable "Front loader shovels" kids could sit on and move/excavate the sand. AND swings which allowed Dad to push the young un up to a height, then have a bit of fun himself before the next push.
Nearer to "home" there was a paddling pool which allowed me to capture three generations, including a Gruffalo; two of which were Blippers. Hopefully there'll be at least a third?
