Flower Macro - Tiny Tuesday

Using my digital microscope I was amazed just how simple it was to set up this flower macro. Not having to worry about the wind blowing the flower about and being at exactly 90 degrees to the plane of focus or concerns about shadows affecting the lighting. It was just a matter of plonking the flower head down under the microscope in a central position and using a bit of the LED lighting to give an even toned exposure and as you can see the detail is all there. The only difficulty experienced is the fact that the auto exposure tends to underexpose and this has to be corrected in post-processing. Nonetheless it was just a matter of taking a single shot and everything was taken care of.
