Transient Beauty

Well what a better way to spend a Birthday then to spend it with family at Art Prize 2012.

My day was crazy busy I went to Art Prize with the Grandparents, my Aunt and Uncle, and my Cousin. We started the morning at Art Prize and walked until we decided to go get lunch and then after lunch we walked some more until it was time to go back to the apartment to meet the kids after school. After they got home my cousins and I went to the pool for a bit and then came back to change and walk down the road to a pizza place where we got pizza and sat in the parking lot on the sidewalk and ate. Then we went and got stuff for brownies and ice cream and went back to play the wii and eat. After all that was said and done we decided that it was time for adult time and we set out again to see some art that is best seen at night and to go get a drink. All in all the day was lots of fun.

Anyways back to the picture it is called Transient Beauty and its not just a picture of a bunch of faces. The faces in this photo are all homeless people from the Grand Rapids Area. It was really cool to hear the artist talk about he work and how some of the homeless faces had come in to see the art work.
