September Smoke

It is becoming a regular afternoon walk for Trev and I to wander somewhere round the estuary. Today we are on the east side looking west and quite fortuitously there is some smoke for the September wide angle challenge. Thanks bobsblips.
The smoke is from a kiwifruit orchard that has been pulled out. Not sure yet what will replace it. Maybe they are going red. Maybe apples or hops. The kiwifruit would have been amongst some of the first planted in our district in the 1980's(I think, might have been earlier).

It got very warm today after a thunderstorm before dawn.

An extra looking norwest towards the Takaka/Marahau Hills.See the sunny day.!!
