One daze at a time...

By Raheny_Eye

We are still, like, so totally doomed, like

We still have a teenager in the house.
And he is getting bigger by the day. No wonder, considering how much he is eating. Smithski had warned: it feels like you are constantly feeding a teenager - and his pet tape worm - massive quantities of food.
Luca usually wolfs down his meal (most of the time rice with generous lashings of soya sauce, or pasta). And he rapidly takes his empty plate to the kitchen. But does not come back. And there is silence. Always a bad sign, silence.
Biscuits and chocolate bars are not a staple food, Luca!

There is a good bit of adjusting to having a teenager in the house.
It's the voice that still surprises me every day. The pitch and volume. Especially the volume.

It's great to have you around Luca. And to see you become more independent every day (especially when it comes to stealing food, you are fully self-sufficient on that front). And to see you grow. And to still be able to have great chats. Good to see that the communication channels are still working.

You are our big lad. With the big appetite for life. And the big appetite for food. And the big booming voice.

And the little fluffy moustache. And it's not even Movember yet.
