Business

It was the choir's first AGM today (Saturday, I'm backblipping). True to form, it took three hours. But we were kept going by the prospect of aperos and home-made nibbles afterwards, without which no choir meeting would be complete. There was a good turnout and as well as the mayor, representatives of both local councils showed up (from whom we are hoping to get considerably larger grants next year). Without committing themselves to anything they both said how impressed they were at our dedication and the amount of unpaid work we've put in. We started with 0 euros in September 2016 and after one season we now have over 4,000 in the bank -- not bad going!

I had to take photos for the article to be sent to the newspaper. How uninspiring it is taking photos of meetings! I quickly grabbed this one of some of the committee.
