Centenary Celebration

The Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway was this weekend celebrating the 100th birthday of two its locomotives. They were designed for use in the First World War for troop movements in France, and today the railway recreated one of the open trains that would have been used by the troops 100 years ago. The public could ride on straw bales on that train but it was a cold day and would have involved an extra hour at the Stonehenge Works terminus before returning back to Pages Park so we passed on that. These volunteers were in the spirit of things, and I've added an extra taken from the train on our return journey.
