Flamenco

Thank goodness we'd hired the car for today, the weather's been awful so we've been able to dodge the showers.

Our first destination was the lighthouse at Punta Nati which is at the North West Point of the island. The car park was 1km from the lighthouse and about half way there, the rain came, but we carried on. When we got there the wind was so strong and the sea was wild with froth was blowing which looked like snow! (see my extras)

From here we went to Cuitadella, but it was raining really heavily by this point, everywhere was closed because it was Sunday, and there was nowhere to park, so we decided not to bother.

We quickly re-routed to the north coast where there was a bit of blue in the sky, and went to Fornells. On the way we drive through the little town of Es Mercadal which looked really nice, but yet again we couldn't park! (we'll try again tomorrow!)

Fournells was lovely, and so was the weather! It was windy, but warm and sunny. We spent a couple of hours here, and I was going to Blip the boats, but it's gone in my extras instead.

On the way back, we drove into the weather again - there was thunder, lightening, sunshine and rainbows as well as flooding! By the time we were home, the weather had passed and it's been a glorious evening.

We had dinner early as it was Flamenco Night which I wanted to see. We got a good spec in front of the dance floor, and they were brilliant!

I love this hotel and definitely want to come back!
