Thrill of the Chase...

Lola's breeder Carole set up a Facebook group for all her puppy owners and it's great fun keeping in touch and seeing how they're all getting on.

Carole thought it would be fun to get each of the puppy owners to come up with a weekly theme for a photograph that we could share with the group.  Oscar's owner Craig chose the first theme of playing and this is my shot.  Lola throwing her toy doggy round the kitchen and chasing after it.  

I have been given the honour of choosing this week's theme and I've gone for mischief.  I'm sure it won't be too difficult to photograph the puppies getting up to some of that.

Lola is literally growing before our eyes.  When she arrived here two weeks ago her head could barely see over the seat cushions on the sofa when she jumped up.  Today her paws reached half way across the seat cushion followed by her head and she managed to steal a £20 note out of David's wallet that was sitting on the sofa.  I couldn't stop laughing as he tried to get to her before it was shredded or swallowed!  In the end it was easy to get her to drop it.  The offer of a bit of cheese proved irresistible and the note was soon abandoned in favour of the highly prized treat.

We are developing eyes in the back of our heads.
