Tender

Lovely day with D&L. Started with bacon rolls then decided to try a walk at Portobello despite threatening skies....good though and the sun even broke out. Was art walk weekend so we went into quite a few studios....not only some interesting work but also nice to see inside so many Porty houses!
After tea and cake we headed to modern art gallery to see the Realist paintings from 1920s and 30s.....loved some, not others.
Home for a brief rest before meeting M and taking her for delicious dinner at Tanjore. Joined by D's godson who was somewhat overbearing (especially in his strident views of studying here)....not helpful given the emotions of their 'last supper' with her before they went back to London. She was on good form though....
