Sunbathing

This red admiral was making the most of the sunshine after a very wet start to the day.  It looks fairly new and pristine but it's already had a chunk taken out of the top wing by a bird.  I also spotted a Small Tortoiseshell and Small White butterfly in the front garden which were making the most of the sunny spell.  I think we are likely to experience the table end of the hurricanes tonight but fortunately for us nothing quite so fierce as they've just experienced in Central and Southern America.

For me, yesterday mainly involved selecting and editing photos from the Penistone Show.  I've got the numbers down to just over a 100 from over 400, so not too bad.  I need to print out some contact sheets today.

It was also the first meeting of the season for the Positive Image club and Marilyn made cakes to celebrate, so a good night.  It was lovely to see the images people shared of their favourite places - lots of fantastic images on display.
