Good health

This seems the most appropriate photo today after discovering this tradition dates back to the 1700 where an ill person could press a coin into a tree and their sickness would leave them.  It is said that if the coin is taken out, their illness will return.

I was up and out on the moors early this morning before a trip to the hospital with Liz for her check-up.  A second four-month appointment in a row has been granted after a satisfying 'nothing untoward' report.

No coins have been planted (or removed) but thank heavens for modern day treatments.
