First Crossing

This evening we made a foray into Fife, over the new Queensferry Crossing. We had heard about long queues, but all was flowing smooth for our first time over it.

The roadway is sheltered from cross-winds by some kind of barrier, so I was foiled in my attempt to get a shot of the sunset upriver, and had to be content with the above. 

It has been a busy day - the start of a  new term at Sing Together,  patchwork workshop in the afternoon, then a much-needed hair do. A little glass of something will fortify me for an early appointment with the optician tomorrow.
