Once Upon a Time....

....this was a flower,  but I am not sure if it will pass muster for Flower Friday.

I am fascinated by the seed pods on the milkweed plants I put in last fall. They have definitely been blip-worthy... Wednesday, after the rain and today in the sunshine.  I used the Lensbaby Velvet 56 for this shot, to make another stab at the 14-day impressionist challenge that I joined last month. This would be the 7th day.  I really hate to quit anything I have started, so I will keep at this until I am done and hopefully no one will mind such a delinquent participant. 

And hopefully, our dedicated host for Flower Friday won't mind my entry.
