New bike: Cannondale Quick 8

Here is the new bike that Mr hazelh chose for me last week :-)

This morning we took it on a maiden voyage to Cramond and back. This was a lovely 13 mile jaunt during which I became familiar with the gears and reminded myself how to 'drive' a solo bike (which is important since most of my cycling recently has been as a tandem 'passenger').

After our super-busy week the rest of the day will be dedicated to catching up and planning. I'm now off to put my summer clothes into storage and switch them for my winter wear...

Exercise today: 13 mile solo bike ride.
