Arrived

Our Autumn/Fall has arrived.  Even though technically the Fall Equinox doesn't occur until this Friday, September 22nd, it feels like the forerunners have come to prepare the way.  The morning air was crisp as my love and I headed out on a hike and got home just as the rain started around noon.  I had hoped to head out to a nearby park this afternoon in hopes of catching some of the fall colours in the trees but will wait for a sunny day.

I've so enjoyed our summer in spite of the heat and the wildfire damage our province suffered, but I'm very ready for Autumn/Fall to be ushered in. Candles, soups, red wine and cozy evening fires to snuggle in with a good book or movie.
