Bakewell

As Brian is off work and it's my "free" day today, we decided to have a drive over to Bakewell, a lovely little town in the heart of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire.

We were lucky with the weather, as it was a very warm and sunny day. Lots of photos were taken - it is such a pretty place, set in gorgeous scenery.

We had a delicious lunch of fish and chips, ate ice cream and came home with some of the delicious goodies Bakewell is famous for. Healthy eating will resume shortly! 

Interesting how many shops claim to be the home of the true, original Bakewell Pudding - they can't all  be, can they?

In other very good news, Jae passed his driving theory test today!
