Lamp

The lamps that line some of the Edinburgh New Town Terraces always fascinate me, bringing to mind the RLS poem about Leery the Lamplighter. They also remind me so strongly of childhood evenings in the city and later nights walking as a student in winter streets.

I have blipped them before though never to my satisfaction but tonight, on my own flat doorstep I thought I would try to get just one in close up .
