Homeward bound.....

....enjoyed flying today with no drama's leaving Wellington.

The sea was smooth with shades of silvery tones mingling with light blue, a few fishing boats dotted around while wispy clouds drifted by. Wonderful to see the snow capped Seaward Kaikoura Range with the Southern Alps beyond, the coastline and Pacific Ocean emerging through pockets of cloud below. This was taken just slightly north of Kaikoura, from here on in it we were above the clouds enjoying blue sky.

Upon descent we were quite low before land could be seen, cloudy day in Christchurch with sun coming out once home.

And my garden.....I was gasping with delight, magnolia's and camellia's in full bloom and the fragrance from the michelia's are divine! Copious amounts of weeds and the lawn, well you know how it goes, we'll be onto it as soon as time allows.

So nice to have dinner out at Loretta's in Wellington with A last night and breakfast at one of her favourite places - Prefab. We woke at 6am so we could schedule breakfast with A before she wandered off to work and then made our way to the airport. We were on standby but had no problems getting on, all was good.

So touched by your words, stars, hearts and hugs from yesterday's blip of our very last day in Masterton. Thank you so much for your love and support during this difficult time, it is so very much appreciated.

Well, this blip has become a back blip as last night I just needed to rest.

Hope you're all keeping well :)
