Lunch, Games and Birthday Surprise

One of our friends' birthday is on Christmas day. We manage to get together to celebrate every other birthday during the year, but she seems to get short changed.

Today we were getting together for lunch and games, so I decided that we needed to give her a surprise birthday party. It was a very successful celebration.

We have a bakery that is called "Nothing Bundt Cakes". Bundt cakes is all they do, from the "bundtinis" pictured here, to bundtlets (large cupcake size), to the regular size bundt cakes. They are soooo good! It is nice to have the little ones in a variety of flavors. The other goodies were lemon tarts with blueberries.

It was a fun afternoon with lots of laughter, good food, good friends, and a fun game of Jokers and Pegs.

I am grateful for the bonds of long time friends.
