Mono Monday - Morning Dew

Breathing in the first breath of a new day. Cool, moist, fresh. In each tiny dewdrop, a barely visible world full of colour. And yet, at such an early twilight hour, all the colour is potential unfulfilled. The human eye loses colour long before full darkness occurs, and only slowly does the colour return in the crepuscular of dawn.

Some of the colour has gone out of our lives, in a way, as both Brendan and Charlie set off for foreign lands. Brendan went back to Boston, having deposited his first born into the hands of the Welsh, at Swansea University. And Charlie, and indeed Rory, have set off for Munich, where they will continue their MSc education. Ah, but we had the best of times, and of course Charlie and Rory will be back very soon for Cheryl's wedding.

It's been a weekend. Fantastic Wotton Blues Festival, with really first class acts and all for free! And the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride, and my fundraising page stands currently at £349! And a big family meal yesterday too, with ten around the table. And this morning an early start to get everyone where they needed to be, including a clinic visit for Janet. I'm bushed!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you have a smashing week ahead of you.
