Girls in the City

Have had a fab day with these lovely ladies in good old London town.

Started the day with lovely breakfast chez Glenys, then a train to Waterloo then Baker Street. Wandered past various Sherlock Holmes related Baker Street buildings to a cafe in Marylebone High Street where we waited for Helen to join us. Once we were four we chatted lots more, drank coffee and wandered down Chiltern Street, past a trendy fire station (apparently) to The Wallace Collection. There we had a bit of culture, then found a very busy Cote for a late lunch. This photo was in St Christopher's Place, where that small gap brought us out on to Oxford Street. From there we meandered down to Regent Street which was buzzing with song and dance promoting the America football NFL thing. A bit beyond me. Very busy so we veered off ending up on Savile Row. More wandering to a little market where I bought Jon's Christmas present!

We took a tube a Piccadilly circus to the embankment and walked across the river to Waterloo. Then the train home. We are off for a meal later, but thought it best to blip now....

It's been a lovely catch up with these lovely ladies. Home tomorrow.
