Busbridge Lakes

A meet with the photography group.

Busbridge Lakes only open a few days every year.  This year the elderly lady who owns the house and gardens recognised us straight away as the group that turned up last year to find them searching in vain for a fox that was causing havoc after a terrible storm had caused a number of mature trees to fall over the perimeter fences.

This year it was my dog who was in disgrace.  She slipped out of the car when Kelly wasn't quick enough to get into the car as we were leaving.  I did realise the dog had gone until I saw a black rocket running at full speed across the car park with a Moorhen in her mouth!
How embarrassing!  There is no excuse and my dogs are not allowed to be out of control at any time.  At least she chose a wild bird and not one of their priceless swans.  It could have been a very expensive day.
