... chop wood, fetch water. After enlightenment, chop wood, fetch water. Perhaps it should be 'embellishment' instead, but it certainly feels like we are currently stretching ourselves thin trying to deal with the everyday plus getting (both) houses in order and to our liking. And I am very aware that the garden at both places is getting far too little attention.
Anyway, the upside is that having done some much needed housework (aka wood chopping) we had a jaunt into Shrewsbury to look for lights and mirrors (no smoke!) and were therefore forced into a coffee at the Old Market Hall. When it was renovated some lovely stained glass was put in, so here are the significant churches of the town masking the facades on the far side of the square. Looking above shop fronts in old towns is always rewarding.
Choral tonight; early rehearsal for the altos and I'm always pooped after so hence the early blip :-)
