Almost 'in your face' with it's huge red flowers this rhododendron certainly makes a statement......red and green, not many weeks left until you know when.....

Had a wonderful visit with R today. It's been a while since I've seen him with being away but mum has visited. He was happy, smiling and engaging in conversation, a visit to cherish.
